A Simple, Survivor-Centered Pathway to Safety, Stability, and Self-Sufficiency

At RedeemHer, survivor support services are delivered through our SurvivHer program—a comprehensive, trauma-informed continuum of care designed to support women impacted by domestic and sexual violence as they move from crisis to stability and long-term independence.

SurvivHer is structured as a clear, compassionate, and flexible pathway that meets each survivor where they are. While every person’s journey is unique, services generally follow three primary, interconnected phases: Safety Planning, Advocacy & Support, and Restructuring & Rebuilding.

Survivors may enter at any point and move through these steps at their own pace.

Step 1: Safety Planning

SurvivHer Entry Point – Powered by myPlan

Safety is the foundation of healing. We begin by helping survivors assess their current situation and identify personalized strategies to reduce risk and increase protection using myPlan, an evidence-based, secure app designed to help you identify the unique risks in your relationship and discover the safety strategies that make the most sense for you.

This Step Includes:

  • Confidential intake and needs assessment
  • myPlan-guided safety planning
  • Identification of immediate risks and protective factors
  • Development of a personalized safety plan
  • Connection to emergency shelter, crisis hotlines, and urgent resources when needed

Step 2: Advocacy & Ongoing Support

SurvivHer Core Services

Once immediate safety needs are met,  our advocates help you navigate the complex systems that often feel like barriers. We don't tell you what to do; we provide support services that focus on  stabilizing, strengthening, and supporting survivors.

This Step Includes:

  • One-on-one survivor advocacy
  • Trauma-informed peer support groups
  • Emotional support and crisis intervention
  • Assistance navigating housing, legal, healthcare, and public benefits systems
  • Referrals to counseling, medical care, and specialized services
  • Mentorship and coaching

Step 3: Restructuring & Rebuilding

SurvivHer Empowerment Phase

Healing is not just about surviving; it’s about thriving.  This phase focuses on helping survivors rebuild their lives by strengthening economic stability, life skills, and personal goals.

This Step Includes:

  • Financial education and budgeting support
  • Employment readiness and workforce development
  • Vocational training and certification pathways
  • Education planning and goal setting
  • Mentorship and coaching
